Maintenance For Private Terrace | Vkeel - Free Legal Advice

I reside in a apartment complex having 200+ units, now my association has given me my maintenance bill where they have included the private terrace whereas while buying the builder said no need to pay maintenance for it. Further, the private terrace is not coming under my super built up area too. So how could I explain this to the association. Could someone pls explain it legally as they would ask legal reference for the same. I reside in Chennai, Tamilnadu. Hope someone could clarify my doubt. Thanks in advance
