Old Property Sale Registration

I have a property (residential flat) purchased in 1976 from the builder. The sale deed is not registered as that was not the prevailing practice in those days. The society in which I have the property is a registered co-operative housing society. The society has a conveyance deed which has details (area in square feet and cost of property) of each property owner. The conveyance deed is registered with sub-registrar. My question is, when I want to sell the property, will the new buyer face any challenge in registering the sale deed and paying stamp duty or getting a loan from bank/financial institution.
