Partition Of Father's Self Acquired Property

My brother lives in my father's self-acquired house with my father and I stay separate. My brother started renovating the house according to his wish without taking my written permission. My father wants us both to mutually divide the property's share but my brother took full possession of the house and is saying he doesn't have the funds to pay me for part of my share of the house. Since I stay separate already, I am not interested in taking a land share of my father's property. Is there any other way I can get the money in exchange for my part of the share from my father's property. Since my brother doesn't have the funds to pay me for it.
