I have a query about a property Involving my wife (A), her brother (B), Her father (C) and her uncle (D) and cousin (E). The said property is a flat registered in the name of her father (C) and uncle (D) in Mumbai. Her father (C) passed away in 2019 and her uncle (D) is in a rehab centre for old people in Pune. Her brother (B) is working in Dubai from last year. And, they want to transfer the flat in name of her brother. She has the POA in her brother's name to deal on his behalf. Right now, her brother (B) and her cousin (E) are the nominees on the said flat. Now, I have some queries here - First, what is the procedure to transfer flat in the name of the brother (B). Do her uncle (D) needs to be present physically for flat registration in name of her brother (B). Since, her brother is in Dubai, can my wife (A) act on his behalf and if no, during what stage will he need to come to India. My wife (A) and her cousin (E) can provide any NOC for claim if needed.
