My Father got an old 90 Sq.yards portion of the house in the year 1996 in the oral family partition. But the land is registered with my father's younger brother's name. we are living there since 1996 to till date. 1.we do have house property tax , electricity bill , municipal assessment number and water tax bills. 2. The assessment number is recorded with SRO on my father name. But there is no registered deed. 3.circumstantial evidence from all the villages and head man. We remodeled the house and constructed as G+1 house recently, as there was no objection from my fathers younger brother. My father is no more. How to get house and land legally on my name or on my mother name.

Definitely there are legal ways that you can claim ownership on that land. First you get declaration from the civil court. You may claim on oral that the land was given as gift from your father's younger brothers to your father. I had a very vast experience in dealing with these matters. Get a declaration from the Civil Court that your Father got the property vide Oral Family Partition and get that Judgment registered with Sub Registrar it will be as good a sale Deed.
