    Since you have been paying half the EMI you are also eligible to claim half ownership of the flat under benami property transaction act by filing a case of declaration before a civil court. But for that you have to prove your contribution in the EMI for each and every month since the start.

    Hi, You need to transfer the ownership rights to you as well as your brother. You and your brother can be joint owner over the property. For this you have to file an application for property declaration in civil court and you need to prove your payment of EMIs of the property and then you will able to get trade license for your online business. Documents required for filing of the suit are: Original papers of the property, Ownership proof, Address proof, Proof of illegal possession of the property by the other party.
