We were 3 brothers, all married, hindu family. My father passed away in 2017. He made a registered will in which he distributed his self made property among us. However, we have not transferred or distributed it till date. Recently one of my brother passed away. I want to know does his wife a legal heir in this property now. Does she have any legal share in this property? Can she claim my brother share.. Do we require her permission/consent/sign to transfer or sale my father's property now.

Of course yes. she is having legal right in said property. you must have to take permission from her as she is having undivided share in said property.

Hello Sir Yes your brother's wife could claim share in the property. As the property was inherited from your father to his legal heirs then after your brother's death his wife is legal heir and she has all right to claim her husband's share in the property.
