Property Rights

Actually, my grandfather,s father owned property after he passed away he wrote to my grandfather and my grandfather wrote that property to my father, Here how my rights come, and rental income is coming on those properties. So what is my legal rights here, is it possible to get rental equal share are allowed or not to me, My father has one son ( that's me ) and one daughter (my sister). Please explain to me clearly about my legal rights about that property.
