Hello Sir Your query must dealt according to the section 8 of hindu succession act. The property can be claimed by the daughters and wife of B as it was his inherited property and they are the legal heir surviving after him. In case of demat account the nominee is the entity to whom the assets contained in the demat account are transmitted in the event of the death of the demat account holder. However, this transmission is not automatic and one needs to follow the due process to transfer shares from demat to another. Thanks Please rate if you find this advice helpful

My answer to your question is under the assumption that both both A and B are governed by Hindu succession Act,1956. 1.With respect to properties inherited by B from his father would become ancestral property, as his brother's wife and daughters would take the entire property. 2.If any of the property left behind is self acquired property, younger brothers daughters are entitled to inherit the same, As they become legal heirs of the deceased under Hindu succession Act,1956 section 8(b) read with Class II entry 4 of the Schedule.
