Settlement Of House In Village | Vkeel - Free Legal Advice

We have a house in a village in Ara (Bihar). Now we don't reside there but occasionally visit. Slowly my cousins have started to acquire whole house. They have share (as per paper) in only 2 rooms and rest house is in my father's name. What does the law say? If I put up a case in court, what will happen till the time case is going on. would they be evicted from there? They have been staying for years (30-40) now. I have the paper of the house, no one else has it. Thanks in advance

Hi, You have to approach the court for their eviction. Since they have been staying there for many years, they have easement right in that property. You can approach the court with proper documents and seek for the eviction. Thank You
