Asked in Property
Hi, If you are purchasing the property then the property will be deemed as self-acquired property. Since the ancestral property is any property acquired by the Hindu great grandfather, which then passes undivided down the next three generations up to the present generation of great-grandson/daughter. The validity of the sale can be ascertained on the basis of additional facts which are missing here but make sure that this time you purchase the property through a registered sale deed.
