    It would be legally rational and logical to get a new lease Deed executed from all the Legal heirs of the deceased landlord Which will clinch the whole issue and intricacies of all kind.     Hi, The legal heirs are the successor of the property, unless there is a will. Ask for a legal heir certificate from the Son, before paying the rent. Then after that you can settle the rent amount. If you like my answer, please rate me.

    - All legal heirs have right over property until it is given to son by WILL. - Ask son for copy of succession/legal heir certificate. Till they get it, you can give rent on NoC.
