Some of them are through will, through gift, through sale etc. Transferor should draft the transfer of possession title on stamp paper and should get it attested by two witnesses before its registration. The gift deed should be registered at a sub-registrar's office, and once the deed is registered, the transfer is irrevocable. Interestingly, gift deeds do not attract any tax.
