My wedding video was accidentally deleted/corrupted by the camera man (doesn't own any studio, he is a freelancer), I have paid 1 lakh for the service, he has provided the photo albums as promised but the videos were deleted completely. He is now telling he will pay 50% of the money since only the video was deleted but my expectation is he should pay the full amount since it's something regarding lifetime memory which he ruined completely and even it cannot be compensated with whatever money he pays. please advice.

Litigation will be much expensive better compromise and settle your case in 50%. Rest you are free.

HI, since the videographer and you were in a type of contract, it was his duty and due to his negligence, the video is deleted. you can claim compensation for this too. you can file a civil suit against him demanding full payment of the sum along with compensation too. for more help, you need to provide us the details of the incidences.
