My father inherited property as he was adopted by a wealthy family. he sold off the entire property without any consent of legal heirs. Whether he had the right to sell the inherited property without the consent of legal heirs and his wife.

Because he was the exclusive owner of the property he inherited by virtue of his Adoption. No one else can interfere with such property. He may or may not give share to anyone. what did he do with the sale proceeds of the sold property? if he had invested the amount in the other property, then the other property will be treated as the ancestral poperty.
