Dear Client, Yes, you can file a Right to Information (RTI) application online to know the status of your case. Identify the public authority that holds the information you seek. For court case status, this would typically be the concerned High Court or District Court. Most states and central government departments have an online RTI portal. Register and login to that portal, fill necessary details after clicking on submit request. After paying the RTI fee submit the application. You will receive an acknowledgment with a registration number which you can use to track the status of your RTI application. Use the registration number to check the status of your RTI application on the same portal. The PIO is required to provide the information within 30 days. If you do not receive a response or are unsatisfied with the information provided, you can file a first appeal within 30 days of the response or the expiry of the response period and subsequently a second appeal with in 90 days. Should you require any further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us.
