My co-worker used my number as a guarantor for a personal loan. It's of around 65-70k. This has happened around 4/5 months ago. He took my phone and presumably got the otp and used it to make me as the guarantor for the loan. Now after all these days, I am getting calls from the company saying that I have the responsibility to repay the loan or attend a court hearing in coming week. But, I am not aware of this transaction and I didn't consent to be a guarantor. Do the person calling me does really have the authority to take me to court? or is he just bluffing to scare me? What will be the better next steps to escape from this. The person calling me doesn't have any address/ work related info of me except my phone number and maybe my name. Can I just block this guy and carry on with my life? Please suggest.

You can file a criminal complaint before the Cyber cell of local police station thereby narrating this incident and incase you receive any legal notice from the company then it is very important for you to give an appropriate legal reply to such notice. 1. You can File complain in cyber cell police station for all kinds of harrassment and torture or You can simply block the number.

Dear client I am sorry to hear that but in this case if you receive any no test you have to reply back to that notice however if you do received any notice regarding that then you can simply go and complain to a cyber cell regarding this
