They have got the right to approach the Executive courts for their rights under Senior Citizen Act to get them protected on all counts. It will work and the Sons and daughter-in-law will be brought to book for the delinquent behaviour towards the Senior Citizens. Please give me Rank Five and follow me after reviewing my resume and book a consultation for further discussion and explanation if required.

    1. the parents can file a complaint under the maintenance & welfare of the parents & senior citizen act to evict the son and his wife from the house, 2. the parents can also claim maintenance from the son under the said act and also under section 125 of CrPC, 3. The Delhi High Court had ruled in 2016 that an adult son had no legal claim on his parents' self-acquired property. “Where the house is a self-acquired house of the parents, a son, whether married or unmarried, has no legal right to live in that house and he can live in that house only at the mercy of his parents up to the time the parents allow” said the order. 4. Justice Navin Chawla in Delhi High Court has held that a senior citizen has a right to evict his children from the property even if no ill treatment is done. 5. The Bombay high court (HC) has held that senior citizens tribunals, established under provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, can evict abusive children from the resistance of their aged parents even if it is an ancestral property.
