Company Is Paying FNF | Vkeel - Free Legal Advice

I was working in a company and due to pandemic, it has started deducting 50% of salary from April 2020. They never gave full salary so I decided to leave the company and left In Jan 2021. As per the organization rule, the FNF should be done 45-60days of leaving the organization. But it's been more than 4 months and they are not releasing the FNF. I have followed up many times, when HR & accounts team are saying FNF is approved but the CEO has asked to hold it for unknown reason. When speak to company's VP & CEO they are saying as there is lockdown we can't transfer the money. We will see once lockdown is lifted. They are not replying my emails so I have communicated with them on WhatsApp chat. They are not receiving my calls too. What should I do? If I file a case against the company how much time it will take. Are WhatsApp chats acceptable as per the law? Kindly help

A company where you are speaking to CEO means they are not company, they are small shop business. Send a legal notice to that Bas***d CEO through lawyer.

1. you can serve the employer with a legal notice through a lawyer to make payment of the outstanding amount (FNF) along with the interest, 2. if payment is not made despite service of the legal notice, you can file a civil suit/labour case for the recovery of the amount, 3. chat, call records, WhatsApp record, if relevant, can prove your case and are admissible as an evidence 4. it will take a minimum time of one year in normal circumstances.
