I sold my car recently to an unknown person and then he started the RTO process as he said. I checked the application progress in online using the car registration number. This shows that the ownership transfer application is completed and RTO also issued the smart card. However, the buyer is not responding to my calls, and not sending an updated smart card. But on the VAHAN website, it shows his name instead of my name in the Owner Details section. Can I consider this vahana detail as a piece of evidence for ownership transfer to avoid any problems related to the car?

if owner ship shows transferred then need not worry for proof you can get verification from authority which is simple and by hand without cost
