Employer Harassing | Vkeel - Free Legal Advice

A Hindu friend of mine is constantly being harassed by his Christian Employer to accept Christianity. When we threatened to take legal action, the Christian Employerâ€™s lawyer (also a Christian), told us that, religious conversion is guaranteed birthright of every Christian as per the Indian Constitution. Also, the Christian Lawyer told us that, since my friend is working in the Christian Employerâ€™s company, the latter has all the fundamental rights to try to convert my Friend. My Friend left the concerned company, but, his Christian Employer and Christian Lawyer are still bothering him via emails, Whatsapp, calls, and SMS. What legal action can we take?

India is a secular state and each one is free to follow religion of his choice . Kindly make police complaint or initiate judiciary for infrigment of constitutional rights

File a criminal complaint against the employer. No person can compel any body to covert his religion against his/her will. The constitution of India gives everyone a fundamental right i.e. Right to profess religion of own choice. Any attempt of forceful converstion of one's religion is illegal and unlawful as per law of the land.
