Dear Sir, If it is your father's self acquired property he need not take your permission however if son has invested in such property then he can claim a share.
there is no time limit for that but fir cancellation the sale deed is six months from the sale deed.
You can file Partition suit and Demand your Share in Ancestral property . Contact any Advocate for relief
you can file a civil suit for partition and also can claim for cash for your share if your share has been sold by your father. for more information contact us
your father has equal rights as you have so he can sell half of it and you cannot do anything thing
