Dear Sir/Madam, I have booked a plot in a layout at out skirts of Bangalore and done the sale Agreement in Feb 2020. Property value is 30 lakhs and agreement time paid 6 lakhs. The said Layout completed in October 2020. But they have not informed me about all the clearance obtained by them and it's ready for registration. I have not received any email and no phone call or whats app message from them till 3rd December 2020. In december i called them to know the status and they informed as its ready for registration and you have to pay all the balance and get it registered before December and suddenly started putting pressure on me. Now they asking me to pay 2 lakhs interest and told me its standard calculation of SBI interest plus 2%. Now they added Infrastructure development charges which were not mentioned in the agreement done before. In their notice later give to me in December also not had this new component but suddenly came up now in Jan 2021. Now they telling pay dues or withdraw.

Facts reveal that it is a Case of deficiency of service as you did not receive any information from the other end. If there is no mention of late fee in the Agreement to Sell you should approach the Consumer Court or Permanent Lok Adalat with due consultation of your Local Lawyer who would be of great help in getting the matter resolved.
