Since, you have already discussed the issue with them, file a suit.
Serve notice and without prejudice get your work done. Thereafter file a Consumer case for your damages if you feel aggrieved!
Dear client I am sorry to hear that but in the chase you can go ahead and server legal notice to them and ask to resolve your problem or give you a compensation if they did not reply to your notice then you can go add and file a case against them before the court
Issue them notice through lawyer and File Complain in Consumer Court and claim heavy compensation.
In your case rather than going legally you should first of all serve them a legal notice and in that notice you can write that either fix a solution to the mess you have created or compensate you for the loss incurred or face legal action which will be at your own risk. After that if he fails to give you a satisfactory reply then you can anytime file a petition in the district consumer forum to claim your rights along with compensations. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
