Dear client, Research the Money Lending Act: Familiarize yourself with the specific provisions of the Money Lending Act in your jurisdiction. Understand the requirements and restrictions for lending money, including the licensing process and penalties for non-compliance. Gather evidence: Collect any evidence that demonstrates the person has lent money without a license. This may include loan agreements, payment records, witnesses, or any other relevant documentation that supports your claim. Consult with a lawyer: Seek advice from a lawyer who specializes in finance or consumer law. They will be able to provide guidance on the specific steps you need to take and help you understand the legal options available to you. Communicate with the person: If you are comfortable doing so, try to communicate with the person who lent you the money without a license. Discuss your concerns and attempt to resolve the issue amicably. Sometimes, this step can help avoid the need for legal action. File a complaint: If your attempts to resolve the matter directly are unsuccessful or if you prefer not to communicate with the person directly, you may consider filing a complaint with the appropriate regulatory authority or government agency that oversees money lending activities. Provide them with all the evidence you have gathered and explain your situation. Initiate legal action: If other options have been exhausted or if you believe legal action is necessary, consult with your lawyer to determine the best course of action. They may advise you to file a lawsuit against the person who lent you money without a license. Your lawyer will guide you through the legal process, including the preparation of necessary documents and representing your interests in court.

First of all rather than going legally you should serve them a legal notice and in that notice you must write that either stop all these harassments or face legal action which will be at your own risk. After that if he fails to give you a satisfactory reply then you can anytime send a complaint regarding your grievances in writing to the police station of your area. And if you wish to go legal then you can always file an application under section 156(3) CrPC for registration of FIR against such assault to the magistrate according to your jurisdiction. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
