You just keep quite until your land owner files a suit for eviction. The suit for claiming compensation on the ground of defamation normally ends in dismissal. Further you have to pay around 7.5 % as Court Stamp Duty on the compensation claimed.

Without prior notice, the house owner cannot evict him. He may sue the Owner but the owner will also sue him for assault. Legal fight of Civil Problems are not easy, it requires lot of effort, time, headaches and least but not last Money. Tell him to stay without any fight, Let the owner fight for next time, and then let him sued!!

Sir, you have two options first you can file a case in rent control authority in your city against house owner and second you can file a case of defamation in court.
