I want to start Home Tuitions for primary and secondary students. Can I distribute pamphlets with home address for advertisement . Is it Taxable. A friend of mine said ' If you will advertise it , You have to pay the Tax . " I want advice regarding this. I am a college student and just want to earn some pocket money.

running tuition at home is not taxable you are not giving receipt the tuition students hence it is not problem

The total fees received during the year exceeds Rs*250000*then it is taxable. That means total earning up to Rs* 250000*is exempted.
