Alleged Cheating For No Fault

We are running an overseas educational consultancy. The consultancy is a Pvt Ltd company. A man of 46 yrs approached us telling us that he wanted to go abroad. We told him that because of his poor academics and age etc he cannot easily get a visa. Even though he got an admission to a NewZealand Collge. He could not get a visa as he failed during the visa interview. Again under his undertaking, we tried Italy, Malta, etc. He failed in visa interviews everywhere. He was desperate to go abroad. A foreign consultancy told us Azerbijan visa is easy and he was given an MBA admission for 4000. He paid USD 4000 to that consultancy after reaching Azerbaijan. He studied there for 6 months and came back to India and made a complaint to the police that we cheated him. He has given us a written undertaking that we are sending him only for higher studies. He says we should collect 1.50 lakhs from the other consultancy or he will file a police complaint. In fact, we understand he did so. We got only a service charge of a mere 5000
