Dear Client, The somewhat obvious tactic of offering a 50% settlement should not be automatically accepted without thinking that you can always do that as long as both parties are not forced to reach a decision. However, if you wish, you can request the full 100% of the claim or the amount due to be paid to you by the defendants. If you reject the proposal, the accused might attempt to discuss the matter further, may enhance the offer or may continue with additional trials due to the issuance of a warrant of arrest without a possibility of bond. It’s recommended to seek the legal advice of whether it is in your best interest to do so or not depending on your circumstances or the potential outcome of the event.
