I need free legal advice in the following subject. Qualification of candidate is M Com with BEd. In BEd, candidate studied MS OFFICE with practical. (Information Technology is a subject in BEd Curriculum). Can the candidate apply for a PSC post that have following Qualifications : 1.MCom 2.BEd and 3.MS Office. Please tell me whether the candidate needs to take a MS Office certificate again, to apply the post. If PSC rejected his application can he file a lawsuit against PSC?

The Govt. of Kerala has clarified this issue in its 2012 order itself. If computer applications is part of your curriculum, you need not go for an additional DCA course for getting qualified for applying for a PSC post. If PSC fails to recognize it, you have to approach KAT (Kerala Administrative Tribunal) for relief.
