I joined a company in January 2017 right out of college. It had a bond period of 1.5 years and a bond amount of 1.5 lacs. I left it in June 2017 as I got selected for MBA at IIM Kashipur. As the company had a stringent bond period, I had no option but to abscond and forego my service and experience letter. The company is now sending me emails and letters asking me to pay the bond amount otherwise they will take legal actions against me. they are not even ready to provide me my experience letter and quite frankly I don't even need it anymore in my professional career. I wanted to know what I should do going forward and what I should reply to the company.

Dear Sir, The law says that the amount spent on your training if any can be recovered but entire amount cannot be recovered. You have to get reply from an experienced advocate. Please mark “LIKE” if satisfied by my answer.
