I had withdrawn from resignment from my company with a commitment that if I leave before 1 year starting from the date of withdrawal I am not supposed to get my service letter. Due to some reason, I had to resign early, but I served 6 months notice period. So technically I left the company before 1 year i.e in 7 months only. The company is not giving me a relieving letter saying that service letters and relieving are the same. I am okay with not getting the service letter but why can I not get a releiving letter when both are not the same. There wasn't any mention of a relieving letter in thr comitent !!

You are required to make a detailed representation to the Company and thereafter to the local Labour Conciliation Officer for redressal of your grievance. But finally you will have to go to Labour Court if the Company does not hear you. You have a good case and you will succeed.
