Recovery Of Training Fee By Ex-Employer

Hi, I have recently quit an organisation after working there for 10 months without giving any notice period due to health reasons. In the offer letter(that I signed) they have mentioned that if I do not complete a 3 month notice period, then I have to return 3 months of salary. Secondly, before signing the offer letter, they had taken my confirmation over email that I need to pay a salary of 3 months if I do not complete 2 years with the organisation. The HR has written a mail to me on the second point, demanding 3 months salary. Now, am I bound legally to pay this 3 months salary in lieu of not completing 2 years (as per confirmation over email) or as per the offer letter for not giving the notice period?
