No knowledge about importants of legal notice to reply? Later face problems?

When some group of community of person serving falsely legal notice to vacate the house/ordering eviction in legal notice by claiming that land belongs to thier community but this is not true,that people who constructed this house structure for business purpose besides the roads for daily income, whereas land  belongs to this people,but they are illiterate, notice was served upon them,but they didn't reply or care about legal notice, matter had reached upto to court, because of this legal notice this aggrieved people are losing their case
