I am a selected candidate for Uttar Pradesh public service commission. I have no criminal history or anything illegal. I m married so given in-laws house address as my permanent address. Police verification is done for that address but in the verification report, it was written that verification should also be done at my parental address but I didn't mention that address anywhere and because of that my name is not there in the posting list. It has delayed the process of posting by approx one month. I want to how police verification is done of a married woman and can I file a complaint against the police station for unnecessary delaying the whole process.

Dear Madam, Whether you are married women or not. It is the bounden duty of police to verify the antecedents of the candidate both at matrimonial house and also at parents house if you lodge complaint there may be several issues and you may not get positive report from the police as your conduct goes to show that there is some suspicious activities you might have committed at your parents place previously.
