Can an opponent (who opposed the TM application) to a Trademark application ask for and recover cost of proceedings of oppositions against the applicant. And, if so whether the same can be claimed even after the application has been withdrawn or abandoned by the applicant.

Hi, Any natural or legal person, such as companies, partnership firms, or individuals, can file a notice of opposition under Section 21 of the Trademarks Act, 1999.
