I had ordered an adult toy last year and I never received a show cause notice. May be it might have missed. But today, I've received an ex-parte order to pay 5,000/- what should I do. I bought is for personal use due to medical condition. I've sent them an email today stating I never received show cause notice and asking them to provide a suitable time to discuss. It's this fine. I don't want to pay 5,000/- for a product which is 500/-. Please provide your advise...

Dont worry Surya.. Just ignore the notice.. had u been never mailed them this 5k order wouldnt be served upon. just ignore and nothing will happen.. for further assistance plz book for consultation

Hello Sir If the show cause notice is from a authorised person of the government then you'll have to pay the fine. Sex toys aren't allowed in India you may pay the fine in the customs and get away with the situation. Otherwise they would increase the fine further.
