Asked in Drug control
The duration of the bail according to the NDPS Act depends upon the quantity of the drugs that was seized during a particular raid. The offences under section 21(a), 22(a) and 29(1) are for small quantities which are punishable with imprisonment upto one year or with fine will be bailable. As a matter of fact there's never a quick bail that can be granted to the accused in NDPS matters. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
The powe of bail is depend upon the judge view.
Dear client, There is no fixed rule for the same. It depends on the quantity of the drug seized, previous criminal records of the accused. The most important fact that matters is whether the judge is convinced for the same. Thank you
unless the Court is satisfied that there are reasonable grounds for believing that accused is not guilty and is not likely to commit any offence while on bail. Book the consultation for further discussion
