I'm sorry to hear about the situation with your father's plot. Dealing with land disputes can be challenging, but there are some steps you can take to address the issue: Gather evidence: Collect all relevant documents and evidence related to the plot, including the documents obtained from the Pradhan. This will help support your claim and establish your father's ownership. Communicate with the Gram Panchayat: Reach out to the Gram Panchayat office and inform them about the situation. Provide them with the details of your case and any evidence you have. They may be able to assist you in resolving the issue or provide guidance on the next steps. File a complaint: If the Gram Panchayat does not offer a satisfactory resolution, you can consider filing a formal complaint with the appropriate authorities. This could be the local police station or the revenue department responsible for land matters in your area. Make sure to include all relevant details and evidence in your complaint. Seek legal assistance: If the dispute remains unresolved, you may want to consult with a lawyer who specializes in land or property disputes. They can guide you through the legal process, help you understand your rights, and represent your interests in court if necessary. Remember to maintain regular communication with the relevant authorities and follow any legal procedures advised by your lawyer. It's essential to document every step taken to protect your father's rights and interests in the land.

First of all rather than going legally you should serve them a legal notice and in that notice you must write that stop all these harassments and either return the property in question to the rightful owner that is your father or compensate you or face legal action which will be at your own risk. After that if they fail to give you a satisfactory reply then you can anytime send a complaint regarding your grievances in writing to the police station according to your jurisdiction. And if you wish to go legal then you can always file a suit for permanent injunction in the court to restrict them to either construct or sell the property in future. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
