Dear Client, If the property in concern is an ancestral property, then each concerned descendent will have a share in the property. If it is a self-acquired property the grandmother, who is the owner may transfer the property to the daughter through a gift deed or a will. If there is a will made by the grandmother, what is written in there in regards to a self-acquired property must be followed, but if it is an ancestral property all concerned descendants will have a share in the property. Thank you so much, I hope this answer helped you.
